Welcome to the website of the Australian Visa Application Centre in India and
Nepal.
VFS Global Services Pvt. Ltd. has an agreement with the Commonwealth of
Australia to provide Australian visa application services in India and Nepal
from 1 October 2007. Applicants can lodge their visa application with VFS in
person at their nearest of the 10 centers across India and Nepal. You can also
send your visa application directly to VFS Application Centers New Delhi
through courier. Kindly refer to the link ‘Postal

Note: The application for Citizenship is directly lodged at Australian High Commission, New Delhi. Clients are requested to visit http://www.india.embassy.gov.au/ndli/vm_citizen.html for further information on Citizenship applications.
Visa Application Centre (VAC) locations: Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata,
Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Cochin and Kathmandu.
This arrangement for the Australian Visa Application Centre to accept visa
applications does not affect the legal requirements for visa applications and
the decision-making process for the grant of Australian visas remains with the
Australian High Commission.
All applications will be assessed and decided by the visa and immigration
office at the Australian High Commission, New Delhi, in accordance with the
Australian immigration legislation and policy. The VFS Application Centre staff
are not employees of the Australian government and do not have the authority to
assess or decide applications.
The Australian Visa Application Centre is managed by VFS Global Services Pvt.
Ltd. and offers visa services which include collection of visa application
documents with relevant visa application charges and returning of passports to
applicants. The operations and services by the Australian Visa Application
Centre are within the guidelines of client service principles of the Australian
Government Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC).
A non-refundable VFS service fee is required to be paid, in addition to visa fees, for all applications submitted to VFS India or Nepal. For more information on Visa Fees and VFS Service Fee, please click here.
