OF PASSPORT / DOCUMENT
Applicants
need to provide the correct address for official communication on the visa
form. If this is to be someone other than the applicant, this needs to be
completed on the application form and an additional FORM 956 will need to
accompany application. This is available from the website at:
http://www.immi.gov.au/allforms/pdf/956.pdf.
Information
provided in this form will be noted as the official address for written
communication and the courier will be sent to the same address. The only
exception would be if the person receiving the passport has an authorization
letter from the applicant.
The
address provided by the applicant should be serviceable through Blue Dart.
We request you to kindly check the serviceability of Blue Dart, for the return
address by calling us on our Helpline numbers or writing to us at
info.auin@vfshelpline.com. Applicants are requested to provide pin code
for the location, to check serviceability.
To receive the
Passport/Document via Blue dart courier you are required to provide a valid
photo ID i.e. Driving license, Voters Card, Pan Card, Official ID at the time
of delivery of passport. This includes if a family member will be receiving the
delivery. The delivery person will cross verify the name on the ID with the
receiving given by the receiver of the Documents/Passport.
The counter
collection facility is available for applications lodged at Delhi and Kathmandu
only.
Applicants who
have opted to collect the passport at counter will need to show ID proof to the
VFS staff at the time of collection of Documents/ Passports.
Representatives/Agents/Consultants
collecting the Documents/ Passports at counter will have to provide an
authority letter from the applicant clearly stating the name of person &
agency authorizing them to collect documents/passport on their behalf.
